In 1971, Dave McLaren set out to build more than just an HVAC company. He built a reputation. Known throughout Park Forest as a contractor who was honest, dependable, and hands-on, Dave handled service calls while his wife, Willa, managed the office. As word of their integrity spread, so did their reach. And as the business grew, their son Gary grew with it.
Today, Gary McLaren carries that legacy forward from their new home in Frankfort. With more than 55 years in business, Climate Control Systems is one of the few HVAC companies in the area still owned and operated by the founding family. They provide clothing, toiletries, and basic essentials to those in need and regularly support the Will County Children's Advocacy Center and the Manteno Veterans Home.
