"I didn’t want to go through that again," he says. "So that’s what started my entrepreneurial journey."

From Merchant Services to Meaningful Connections
Jimmy dove deep into research, talking with business owners and exploring his options. Eventually, he found his footing in merchant services, and just celebrated five years in the industry with Upstate Merchant Advocates.
As an independent payment process provider, Jimmy can serve any business, anywhere in the U.S. But early on, he knew that success wasn’t just about having the right service — it was about building real relationships.

Where Liberty Networking Began
One of the groups Jimmy joined was Businesses For Liberty, a community for patriotic business owners. It was there that inspiration struck.
“That's where I got the idea to start Liberty Networking.”
Liberty Networking became more than a referral group — it became a platform for business owners who believe in liberty, integrity, and the power of local support.
The group organizes regular social events that spotlight local businesses and nonprofits. To date, they’ve raised nearly $50,000 for local nonprofits, while encouraging members to always shop local first.

Culture Over Everything
With growth has come challenges — the biggest being how to keep the same culture and structure consistent as Liberty Networking expands. Jimmy stays focused on the values that started it all.
“By surrounding myself with positive entrepreneurs who want to see me win and understand the vision, we keep it moving in the right direction.”

Now Expanding Across the Country
